First introduced in Japan in 1710, 'Tamukeyama' has been prized for over 300 years for its attractive, fine-textured foliage that emerge in spring a deep purple color, changing slowly to a rich, bronze-burgundy and finally to brilliant red and orange in fall before dropping for winter.
Perfect as an accent planting in the border or in a large container on the deck or patio.

Rate of Growth
Tamukeyama' grows to 4-5' tall and wide in 5 years, then slowly matures at 6-8' tall by 8-10' wide in 10 years or more.

Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.

Warranty/Returns

We stand behind the quality of our plants and make every effort to ensure that your purchase is healthy and true to its name. We'll help you find the right plant for the right place and give you advice to make your garden successful.

If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
