Returns & Refunds
We want you to be confident in every purchase. Lichtenfelt’s offers a 7-day return policy on all items. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unplanted, with tags attached, and in its original container. You’ll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

Store Credit: If you have more planting projects on the horizon, we can issue a store credit that never expires.

Damaged Plants
Please inspect your plants upon receipt and contact us immediately if the plant is damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. All plants are guaranteed to arrive in healthy and pest-free condition.
Plant Warranty | Shared Responsibility
Lichtenfelt’s is committed to providing healthy, pest-free plant material to our customers. Because successful growth becomes a shared responsibility once a plant leaves our care, we split the risk with you.
If your tree or shrub fails within twelve months, please return the plant along with your receipt for a 50% store credit. We ask that you bring the plant back so our experts can help troubleshoot what happened—ensuring your next one thrives! We’re in this together.
Note: Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
Purchases Made in Error
Any plants purchased in error that reach the pickup stage (items have been pulled and pickup notification sent) are subject to a 10% restocking fee. This is to cover our payment processing fees which are not recovered in the event of a cancelled order as well as to compensate for our staff's time in restocking the plant material.
If you wish to avoid the restocking fee, please do not order unless you expect to pickup, in-store, within a week of purchase OR take advantage of our local delivery options. Lichtenfelt's does not ship plant material through any method other than our local delivery service.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like annuals, perennials, tropicals, and houseplants.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If your refund is not reflected after 5 business days, please contact us and we'll make it right.
