Ruby Spice' is grown for its DEEP-PINK bottle-brush flowers in June and July, just when every garden in the South needs a little boost!
Also known as "Sweet Pepper Bush" or "Summersweet" as flowers are VERY FRAGRANT (clove and allspice fragrance).
Leaves turn attractive orange and yellow before dropping for winter.

Plants mature at 4-6' tall and wide. May easily maintain at 3-4' tall and wide with once-a-year trimming immediately after flowering.

Plant in spot which receives a bit of shade from the hottest part of the afternoon summer sun.

Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.

We stand behind the quality of our plants and make every effort to ensure that your purchase is healthy and true to its name. We'll help you find the right plant for the right place and give you advice to make your garden successful.

If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
