Grown for its "SMOKY-PURPLE" flowers in June and July and for its colorful PURPLE leaves which emerge in early spring and remain purple until turning ORANGE-YELLOW in fall before dropping for winter.
Plant as a small-growing specimen tree next to the deck or patio or as a specimen in the mixed border.
Purple smoketree looks terrific underplanted with the herb, bronze fennel. Smoketree flowers and fennel foliage are the same color.

Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.

If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
