Very similar to the better-known 'Yoshino' cryptomeria, the only real difference between the two is that 'Radicans' seems to be less apt to turn bronze in cold weather. (Some folks love the warm bronze winter color, others not so much.)
Both 'Radicans' and 'Yoshino' are grown for their attractive evergreen foliage which is deep-green during warm months.

See our 'Yoshino' planted just outside the shade arbor in our display garden. These trees present an elegant silhouette in a surprisingly short period of time.

Rate of Growth
Trees grow quickly to mature at 30' tall by 10-15' wide. Expect 2' or more growth a year.
Where to Plant
Plant in sun in soil which doesn't stay soggy after rain or watering.

Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.
Warranty/Returns

We stand behind the quality of our plants and make every effort to ensure that your purchase is healthy and true to its name. We'll help you find the right plant for the right place and give you advice to make your garden successful.

If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
