Magnificent ruffled leaves on a densely branched, upright tree with a spreading canopy adds a thrill to any landscape setting!
In spring, leaves emerge a deep PURPLE-RED with prominent black veining. In summer foliage turns irridescent GREEN with underlying PURPLE tones. Fall leaves are a vibrant GARNET-RED before dropping for winter.
A terrific small-growing specimen tree next to the deck or patio.
'Purple Ghost' may be planted in ALL-DAY summer sun if given supplemental water during dry weather.

    Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

    Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.

    If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
