A hybrid red maple, 'October Glory' is a majestic shade tree grown for its awesome fall color and for its faster growth rate than seedling red maples.
'October Glory' develops a gorgeous ORANGE-RED fall color, although fall air and soil temperatures and moisture will affect the leaf color from year to year.
'October Glory' typically colors up in November while the ever-popular 'Autumn Blaze', colors 2-4 weeks earlier. Color lasts for 3-4 weeks before leaves drop for winter.
NOTE: These trees are much more deeply rooted than Silver Maples (which often have surface roots). This also makes for a stronger tree with less likelihood to topple during intense storms or ice.

Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.
Warranty/Returns

We stand behind the quality of our plants and make every effort to ensure that your purchase is healthy and true to its name. We'll help you find the right plant for the right place and give you advice to make your garden successful.

If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
