A terrific alternative to Japanese yew, a northern-grown plant that doesn't enjoy our summer heat and humidity, 'Fastigata' is grown for its dense, evergreen foliage, upright growth-habit and its versatility to thrive in either sun or shade.
Plant alone as a specimen or frame the entrance to the shade garden with an Upright yew on each side of the walkway.
NOTE: All Southern yew is DEER-RESISTANT.

Rate of Growth
Plants mature at 5-6' tall by 2' wide, at a rate of only 4-6" a year.

Southern yew is versatile, thriving in either sun or shade, Along with fatsia, aucuba, podocarpus and aspidistra, Southern yew is one of the most shade tolerant plants we offer.

Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.

Warranty/Returns

We stand behind the quality of our plants and make every effort to ensure that your purchase is healthy and true to its name. We'll help you find the right plant for the right place and give you advice to make your garden successful.

If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
