    Also known as "tulip tree" or "yellow poplar", these trees are extremely FAST-GROWING, yet have strong branches which don't often break up in ice, snow or wind.

    Mike Dirr writes that Tulip Poplars are "aristocratic" trees, with superb golden-yellow leaf color in late October and into early November.

    Trees produce unique Spring flowers which resemble tulips and are greenish-yellow with orange centers. Often missed by passers-by, these unusual flowers are quite beautiful.

    Tulip Poplars grow quickly to mature at 70' tall by 35' wide. Expect 4' or more growth each year.

      Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

      Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.

      We stand behind the quality of our plants and make every effort to ensure that your purchase is healthy and true to its name. We'll help you find the right plant for the right place and give you advice to make your garden successful.

      If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
