'West Coast' Schip (pronounced "Skip") laurel is grown for its shiny, EVERGREEN leaves, for its spiky WHITE flowers in spring and for its FAST, UPRIGHT growth-habit. Plant alone as a specimen or space 4-5' apart for a garden hedge or screen and expect plants to grow together within 3-4 years.
NOTE: All laurels are susceptible to “shot-hole” fungus if exposed to continued moisture on its foliage. Though generally not harmful to the plant long-term, mitigate the undesirable appearance by avoiding watering/irrigating on its leaves with a sprinkler system. Only water with drip irrigation or by hand - with a water wand - around the rootball.

Shipping Information
Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.
Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.
Warranty/Returns
We stand behind the quality of our plants and make every effort to ensure that your purchase is healthy and true to its name. We'll help you find the right plant for the right place and give you advice to make your garden successful.
If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
