While 'Purple Daydream' doesn't have the name recognition of 'Crimson Fire', our grower tells us this selection actually maintains a deeper burgundy leaf color than 'Crimson Fire' and stays closer to 2' tall rather than 3' like 'Crimson Fire'.
Also known as "Chinese Fringe", 'Purple Daydream' has attractive BURGUNDY leaves year-round and PINK flowers in early spring. Lacy witchhazel-like blooms appear in greatest profusion in March and April, then sporadically until frost.

Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.

If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
