The fine texture and dense growth-habit of Mondo Grass keeps weeds at bay while providing a sophisticated green palette of color against which to highlight other plants, making it a great groundcover for shady areas. Plant Mondo Grass in mass under trees, as seen in our crapemyrtle allee, or as a border along paths and walkways. Plants retain their dark green leaves year-round.

Insignificant white flower spikes appear in summer, turning into gorgeous COBALT-BLUE berries on 4-6" stalks in fall!

Rate of Growth
Plants grow slowly to about 6" tall and spread slowly by underground roots to form a clump 12-18" wide. Plant 6-12" apart whether planting in mass or as a border.
Where to Plant
Plant in a spot that receives a bit of shade from the hottest part of the afternoon summer sun.

    Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

    Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.
    Warranty/Returns

    We stand behind the quality of our plants and make every effort to ensure that your purchase is healthy and true to its name. We'll help you find the right plant for the right place and give you advice to make your garden successful.

    If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
