Grown for its wonderful, arching, textured foliage which it retains year-round and for its graceful, cascading growth-habit which really makes a statement when planted in containers or in a sunny location in the garden border. (We think it looks like "Cousin It" from the old Addam's Family TV program.)

Rate of Growth
When planted in the ground, 'Whipcord' grows to about 4' tall and wide, at a rate of 6-12" a year. In containers, root restriction will limit size.
Where to Plant
Plant in sun to VERY light shade. When planted in containers, be sure plants receive at least 3-4 hours of afternoon summer sun. Water containers a couple times a week so plants never dry out completely.

Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.

We stand behind the quality of our plants and make every effort to ensure that your purchase is healthy and true to its name. We'll help you find the right plant for the right place and give you advice to make your garden successful.

If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
