Title

This self-fruiting (aka self-pollinating) olive is prized for its dark brown fruit with a high oil content and attractive year-round silvery-green foliage!
Cold-hardy to as low as 5 degrees, 'Arbequina' makes a beautiful specimen shrub or small tree in the garden border or in large containers.
These plants are often "tree-formed" by selectively removing smaller lower branches to expose the larger branch structure of the plant.

Botanical Name
Olea europea 'Arbequina'
Rate of Growth
Plants grow slowly to 10-12' tall and wide, at a rate of 6-12" a year.
Where to Plant
Plant in sun to very light shade. Olives are extremely drought-tolerant after their first year in the garden.
