Grown for its deep-green evergreen foliage which is easily shaped into formal hedges or may be allowed to grow naturally for informal screening.
'Wintergreen' is often planted by gardeners who want the look American boxwood, but don't want the wait.
'Wintergreen' grows much faster than all other boxwoods we offer.
Plant 3-4' apart for hedges. Plants will grow together in several growing seasons. In winter, plants sometimes turn a bit bronze, greening back up in early spring.

Rate of Growth
Plants mature at 5-6' tall and wide, at a rate of 12-18" a year.
Where to Plant
Boxwood is one of the few plants that grows well in SUN or SHADE.

    Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

    Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.
    Warranty/Returns

    We stand behind the quality of our plants and make every effort to ensure that your purchase is healthy and true to its name. We'll help you find the right plant for the right place and give you advice to make your garden successful.

    If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
