Vanilla Strawberry' is a relative of the classic PeeGee hydrangea that produces huge flower heads starting in midsummer. Blooms begin creamy white, then turn pink, then strawberry red or even burgundy into fall. Spectacular display when plants exhibit all three colors at one time!
Because Hydrangea paniculata blooms on new growth, they'll bloom even when late freezes kill back stems. If you prune, do so in late winter or early spring.

Rate of Growth
Plants mature at 6-8' tall by 4-5' wide. May easily maintain at half this size with once-a-year pruning.
Where to Plant
Vanilla Strawberry' is a "sun" hydrangea which may be planted in all-day summer sun or in light shade.

    Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

    Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.

    If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
