Size

Grown for its deep-green evergreen foliage which is easily shaped into formal hedges AND for its diminuitive size, only 2-3' tall and wide. Excellent substitute for English OR American Boxwood.
Plant about 2' apart for hedges. Plants will grow together in
3-4 years. In winter, foliage may turn a bit bronze, greening back up in early spring.

NOTE: 'GREEN VELVET' has the foliage of American Boxwood while 'WINTERGEM' has the rounder leaf of Korean Boxwood.

Rate of Growth
Plants mature at only 2-3' tall and wide. You may trim to shape anytime between March and August. Expect only about 4" growth a year.
Where to Plant
Plant in sun to quite heavy shade. Plants are quite drought-tolerant after their first year in the garden.

    Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

    Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.
    Warranty/Returns

    We stand behind the quality of our plants and make every effort to ensure that your purchase is healthy and true to its name. We'll help you find the right plant for the right place and give you advice to make your garden successful.

    If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
