Grown for its VERY FINE-TEXTURED, bright-green, wispy, thread-like leaves which appear in early spring and grow quickly to form a neat clump.
In fall, leaves turn an attractive light straw color, remaining this color all winter. Unlike other grasses which tend to fall apart in wind and rain, these plants remain neat and attractive even in winter weather. Combine with pansies, violas and other winter annuals for great texture and color contrast.

Rate of Growth
Mexican Feather Grass matures at about 24" tall and wide, smaller in containers. Before new green leaves appear in spring, pull off (don't cut) older leaves.
Where to Plant
Plant in sun in soil which does not stay soggy after rain or watering.

    Whether you're located in Upstate South Carolina or Upstate New York, we're thrilled you've dropped by our site! Currently we offer either 1) curbside pickup or 2) local delivery within 50 miles of our location. We do not currently have any shipping capability to send plant material out of SC.

    Please, do not order plants or hard goods if you live out of state. A 10% restocking fee will apply for out of state orders made in error.

    If your tree or shrub doesn't survive for twelve months, we ask that you return the dead plant along with your receipt and we will give you a store credit for 50% of your purchase price. Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and tropicals are not covered under this warranty.
